Happy Birthday Mermaid....

Hello!!!!

Happy Monday to you all! I received Happy Mail

in the mail this past Saturday.  Lawn Fawn's new release

was last Thursday the 23rd.  I had been saving my Valentine's

day money I had received from my honey for this release.  It

didn't take me long to dive into those goodies and get creating.

The scallop pop up box die was first on my list to try out.  Of 

course I had to use my Favorite Lawn Fawn stamp set 

Mermaid For You to decorate this cute box card.

I want to enter my card into the challenge over

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!

WOW I can't believe we are into 2017 already!!! 

The time has surely flown by me and I can't 

believe my last post was in last July!!!!!

My life has been a busy one. I have still

made cards .... just haven't made time to

blog about them....Sorry!!!!

So I have started off the New Year by making

some needed Thank You cards to some

special friends who made my 

Christmas extra special!!!

I ink blended up some Tim Holtz

distress water color paper with various

distress inks and I tried out a NEW to 

me technique called Camouflage.  I have 

seen various people in the blogger land do

it and over Christmas break I searched out a 

YouTube video on how to do it and gave it a try!!!

I used my MOST Favorite Lawn Fawn stamp set on them to

Mermaid For You!!!  The fishes are from my sticker stash.

I LOVE they way they came out.  I cut out the Thanks

6 times in white cardstock and glued on top of all them

the Thanks I cut out of the distress cardstock. My card

base is Bermuda Bay by Stampin' Up.

Hello my Crafty Friends!!!!

I made it back out into my craft room

to make this cute Birthday card with my new

favorite stamp set by Lawn Fawn called

Mermaid for You.  I used the coordinating dies

with this set too.  I love making these fun

water color backgrounds with my distress inks.

The colors I used were Mermaid Lagoon, 

Wilted Violet, Peacock Feathers, and

Salty Ocean.

Happy Anniversary......

Hello my Crafty Friends!!!

I know it's been awhile since my last post

but we have started remodeling this year in 

the house again and that means 

everything that has no place to go

gets shoved into my craft room. It's a little

difficult to work in there right now.

One of my Best Friends is having a 

wedding anniversary this month so I 

squeezed in there to whip up a card

using the oh so CUTE new Lawn Fawn

Mermaid For You stamp set!!! These 

cuties are so fun to color and I love how 

it comes with a Merman!!!
