I have been trying to get some 

Birthday cards built up for my

stash but I also have a few 

Birthdays coming up the 

beginning of September. So I

basically have been using them 

as I am making them.

The Simon Says Stamp

balloon dies make it so much

fun to create with. Well I have been 

on roll a bit this month crafting. Hopefully

I can keep this up next month too.

I Scream....

Good Morning Crafty Friends!!!!

Yes....It's been a long while since my 

last post.  I am alive!!

So I do a monthly swap of cards for fun

with a fun group of local friends. I also

swap to some out of town friends too.

This month's card is made mainly with

cute and adorable Lawn Fawn products.

I think Lawn Fawn is my most 

Favorite company now a days.

I used 2 frame dies on my card. I 

think one is from MFT out of one of the 

Blueprint sets and no clue who the 

other one is by as I keep these in a little

bowl on my counter with my most used

frame dies. I probably should of wrote on

the back of the larger one with some company

initials but live and learn.

My inspiration for my card is from

the fabulous Lynette Lundquist.

I am entering my card into this weeks challenge

over at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge.

The theme is: 

Add a Die Cut.

I used the LF Scripty Hello die cut

along with the LF I Scream You Scream die cut.

Well I have some birthday's coming up 

and have been in Birthday card making mode

lately.  I colored up some Frappi Anya's  and I thought

I would check to see what the latest Greeting Farm challenge

is to enter some of them into.  Well September's challenge

is a Sketch challenge.

and here is my interpretation of it:

I added wink of stella to her hair bow and the heart on

her frappi cup so in real life they are really sparkly.

Hello my Crafty Friends!!!!

It's finally Friday!!!! 

No big plans for me this weekend.

Been enjoying being able to play with some of my 

crafty goodies lately.  My youngest daughter's 11th 

Birthday  is this month so I have been busy this week

creating something special for it!!! She LOVES pigs

and Paris!! I did a Paris card last year so this year I 

stamped up a bunch of cute piggies from MFT's 

Birdie Brown stamp set Hog Heaven. I also 

used my new favorite die by Lawn Fawn,

Scallop Pop Up Box.

She is going to go Oinkers over this!!!

I am entering this into a challenge over at 

Cute Card Thursday where they are having 

an Anything Goes challenge #467.

Here is a cute picture of Brooke's room she 

took that shows her LOVE of Paris and Pigs!!

Hello!!!!

Happy Monday to you all! I received Happy Mail

in the mail this past Saturday.  Lawn Fawn's new release

was last Thursday the 23rd.  I had been saving my Valentine's

day money I had received from my honey for this release.  It

didn't take me long to dive into those goodies and get creating.

The scallop pop up box die was first on my list to try out.  Of 

course I had to use my Favorite Lawn Fawn stamp set 

Mermaid For You to decorate this cute box card.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!

WOW I can't believe we are into 2017 already!!! 

The time has surely flown by me and I can't 

believe my last post was in last July!!!!!

My life has been a busy one. I have still

made cards .... just haven't made time to

blog about them....Sorry!!!!

So I have started off the New Year by making

some needed Thank You cards to some

special friends who made my 

Christmas extra special!!!

I ink blended up some Tim Holtz

distress water color paper with various

distress inks and I tried out a NEW to 

me technique called Camouflage.  I have 

seen various people in the blogger land do

it and over Christmas break I searched out a 

YouTube video on how to do it and gave it a try!!!

I used my MOST Favorite Lawn Fawn stamp set on them to

Mermaid For You!!!  The fishes are from my sticker stash.

I LOVE they way they came out.  I cut out the Thanks

6 times in white cardstock and glued on top of all them

the Thanks I cut out of the distress cardstock. My card

base is Bermuda Bay by Stampin' Up.

Hello my Crafty Friends!!!!

So I was very excited to receive The Greeting Farm's 

new mermaid stamps in the mail just recently. The 1st

set I played with was the Little Mermaids stamp set and dies.

My Mom's birthday is at the end of this month so this is who I 

made this cute card for.  I had fun playing with all my new dies 

and stamps.  I water colored the background using my Zig

Clean Color markers on Tim Holtz water color paper. I sprayed

it with water mixed with perfect pearls to give it a 

shimmery look too.  I created a really cute inside to this too

but I forgot to take a picture of it darn it!!!

Hi Crafty Friends!!!

Hope everyone had a Fabulous weekend!!!

Still doing the remodel at our house but I 

was able to crank out some "Tank You" you cards!

I have several people to Thank for the wonderful 

Birthday gifts I received recently.  I saw this wonderful

card on Pinterest by Jessica Spencer not long ago 

using the cute Fintastic Friends set and I wanted to 

try my hand at casing it!!  Lawn Fawn stamps are so 

cute and practically anything you make with them comes out

Adorable!!!  I used the Merman Lawn Fawn ink for the 

bubbles inside the heart.  I used a Spellbinder heart die

to cut out a heart and used the negative piece to 

stamp all the bubbles in the heart shape. I layerd that

front panel on Stampin' Up Pool Party card stock and 

thought it matched quite well with the Merman ink.

After I colored up all the fish bowls and placed the 

fish inside I put glossy accents all over them and let

them dry to make them look like glass bowls.  I love 

the way they turned out.  

I heat embossed all the sentiments too!!

I had a fun 3 day weekend and was able

to create a 4th of July card!!!

I have finally used my neglected

All American Avery by The Paper Nest Dolls.

Isn't she adorable?!?!?

I just recently received this scallop

frame die by Gina Marie Designs and

was excited to use it on my creation.

I used a star stencil for the background

and rubbed embossing paste to add 

texture to it and used distress ink

for the color.

Hope everyone is having a Great summer

so far!!!  I just celebrated a Birthday this past

weekend and received lots of crafty gifts from

my husband and daughter.  Haven't been able to

play with them yet....but soon!!!!

So I made this Birthday card in mind to enter

into the Lawnscaping Challenge.  Their theme

this time is Distress Maniacs #132.  I LOVE

playing with my Tim Holtz distress inks!! 

I used some pretty bright inks on here too:

Twisted Citron, Picked Raspberry, &

Squeezed Lemonade.

This card is shimmery all over too but the picture 

doesn't show it off very well. I am entering this

So Mother's Day is almost here....

I hope everyone has sent their cards

out to their loved Moms or friends that

are Moms.  Mine lives across the street 

from me so I don't need to send my
Mother's Day card out.  I did get my 

friends cards mailed out early though.

called Mom + Me.  It is sooo darn cute

just like everything Lawn Fawn makes!!!

So trying to stay on track to make Birthday cards

I really need for my stash I pulled out this oh so cute

Lawn Fawn stamp called Year Six. 

Is this not sooo stinking cute?!?!?! I knew I had to have

this set when previews started a month or so back. I 

love all underwater theme stamps and thought

it would be cute to make a masculine Birthday card with it.

I turned this into a Fun shaker card too!!!

I stamped part of the birthday greeting onto blue vellum paper

and the other half of the greeting is on the sand and it reads

(Be a little Shellfish).

 Hello my Crafty Friends!!!

I finished up making this mermaid card for my

friend's up coming birthday this week. This is a 

digital stamp by The Greeting Farm called

Leela Merbean.  She is my Favorite merbean

of the bunch!! I colored her up with my Copics and 

I used lots of clear Wink of Stella glitter pen all

over her fins and crown but the picture does it no 

justice on showing all that sparkly shine!!!

I started out with the intentions of making

this into a shaker card but I took a different route

instead.  I Love the way it turned out and I hope my 

friend does too!!  I have seen other people make

pull out tags on their cards and tried my hand at 

that.  I saw this random saying online and wrote

it down and computer generated it and cut it

out with my Tags A Lot die by Mama Elephant.
